Mikey Kile Motorsports Signs AJ Frank
for 2009 ASA Challenge Effort
Mooresville, NC – AJ Frank of Troutman, N.C., will be piloting the Mikey Kile Motorsports ASA Challenge Series entry for the 2009 race season.
Frank has been a mentor to Kile, of Westlake, La., working with him over the last few years to develop his talent. Kile has progressed fro m UARA-Stars to the Hooters Pro Cup Series and now runs both the Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Re/Max Series in his Greased Lightning Chevrolet. Now, Kile is returning the favor, adding Frank to his newly-formed ASA Challenge Series team.
“AJ needed a place to race, and I wanted to own a race team. So in my opinion, it was a natural fit,” said Kile. “I couldn’t think of anyone better to maintain my cars and drive them too, AJ and I both have the desire to run out front and win races, an d I think we have what it takes to do that.”
Frank, who competed in the USAR Pro Cup Series for the past four seasons, has been hard at work prepping the cars for the season-opening event at The Milwaukee Mile on May 17. Frank will compete for the championship in two brand new Path Finder Chassis powered by Chevrolet with associate sponsorship from Strutmasters.com.
“These cars are awesome,” said Frank. “Mikey has given me the best of the best to race with, and I am looking forward to showing him just how much I appreciate this opportunity.”
