Blue Grass Battle

Mooresville, NC –  Brad Keselowski Racing driver Mikey Kile, of Westlake, La., headed to Kentucky Speedway with high hopes to only have them slip away.  Kile tested his No. 29 Greased Lightning Cleaning Products Chevrolet during the open test session at the Blue Grass Oval and felt the BKR team was going into the event with good momentum. 

Kile posted the seventh-fastest lap during the delayed practice, due to an unexpected seepage issue with the 1.5-mile speedway.  Ultimately, the drainage issue resulted in the cancellation of Menards Pole by Ansell qualifying, leaving Kile on the starting grid in the 24th position.

"We had a good race car, awesome on long runs," said Kile. "With nearly half of the race spent under caution we weren't able to really get a good run at it. We fought loose most of the race." 

On lap 92, Kile made contact with wall forcing him to call it a day with a 25th-place finish. 

Kile and BKR's next stop will be at Pocono Raceway on June 6 for the Pocono ARCA 200.
