Mooresville, NC –  Brad Keselowski Racing driver Mikey Kile, of Westlake, La., piloted his No. 29 Greased Lightning Cleaning Products Chevrolet Silverado in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Las Vegas 350 this weekend at Las Vegas Speedway. 

Kile had a great start to his day posting the sixth–fastest lap during the first practice session, qualifying tenth and running as high as sixth during the first 65 laps of the race.

But as the race wore on, Kile’s Vegas luck took a turn for the worse. With each lap, the lightning fast Chevrolet began to lose grip. Unable to hang on any longer, Kile was forced to make an unscheduled green flag pit stop, dropping him out=2 0of the top-10 and leaving him and the BKR team with a 21st-place finish.

“We really had a top-10 truck at the beginning of the night,” stated Kile.  “We were good in practice, and I felt like I had a good qualifying run. I was right where I wanted to be during the first part of the race.  Around lap 65 the truck started to get loose, and then it was all down hill from there. “

Kile and the BKR team are changing hats this week as they will be heading to Kansas Speedway to compete in the ARCA/REMAX Series Kansas Lottery 150.
