Vice Versa for Kile at Michigan
Concord, N.C. –  Mikey Kile, of Westlake, La., collected his first win
in the ARCA Series at Michigan Intl. Speedway in the No. 25 Sears
Auto Center / DieHard Toyota.

Kile’s win, the Race for Wildlife 200 was a complete reversal of last
week’s event at Pocono Raceway, when he sat on the pole and led
67 of the 80 laps before a late-race caution dropped him to second
place behind eventual-winner Craig Goess.  But the Michigan event
was an opposite experience for Kile.

Kile started the race on the front row alongside of Goess, who was
this week’s pole sitter.  Goess led 74 laps before choosing to pit and
giving Kile the lead. While Goess was on pit road, the final caution
flag waved, allowing Kile to take command of the race. Kile led the final 26 laps and landed in Victory Lane for the first time in the ARCA Series.

“We had a great car and the caution came just when we needed it most.  I can't thank the team enough for all their hard work.  Having Sears Auto Center and DieHard Batteries onboard has certainly brought me the luck we were missing, since they have been on the car we have had our two best finishes to date,” stated Kile.

Kile and the Venturini Motorsports Team have a few weeks before their next event at Iowa Speedway in the Prairie Meadows 200 on July 10th.  Kile ran at Iowa in the USAR Series back in 2008 and is looking forward to his return.
